Role Overview
Urban Landscapes is seeking an experienced Landscape Quantity Surveyor for work in the UAE construction industry.
The role requires at least 5–6 years of experience working with main contractors, consultants, or clients.
Commercial and Quantity Surveying Duties
- Read drawings and take off quantities for landscape items, including pricing.
- Prepare BOQs and variations and finalize them with the Cost Consultant.
- Prepare monthly progress bills, final accounts, EOT claims, contractual letters, and delay notifications.
- Review supplier and subcontractor quotations, evaluate qualifications and exclusions, and finalize subcontractors within budget.
- Prepare subcontractor payment certificates and final accounts.
- Verify budgets before approving purchase orders.
- Reconcile materials and monitor wastage.
- Prepare project budgets and cash flow statements based on planned activities.
- Follow up with clients about payments.
- Conduct site visits as required to take measurements and monitor progress.
Skills and Requirements
- At least 5–6 years of relevant UAE construction industry experience with main contractors, consultants, or clients.
- Strong knowledge of advanced Excel and contract conditions.
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Able to analyze direct and indirect costs for BOQ items.
- Able to conduct site visits, take measurements, and monitor progress when required.
