Urban Landscapes seeks an experienced Operations Manager to lead landscape maintenance operations across its contracts.
The role has responsibility for landscape assets and for leading Project Managers and Project Administrators to deliver SLAs on time and to standard.
Operations and team leadership
- Lead the operation and maintenance of softscape, hardscape, irrigation systems, and water features across contracts.
- Direct and support Project Managers and Project Administrators in meeting SLAs and contractual requirements.
- Monitor performance using KPIs, site inspections, and reports, and resolve escalations promptly.
- Plan and optimize manpower, equipment, vehicles, and subcontractor allocation across projects.
Commercial and client management
- Prepare and manage operational budgets and control labor, materials, water, fuel, and subcontractor costs.
- Manage contract variations, claims, invoicing, and collections to protect profitability.
- Support tenders, pricing, new contract mobilization, and renewals.
- Serve as the senior client contact, lead performance reviews, and build long-term client relationships.
Compliance and improvement
- Ensure HSE compliance across sites in coordination with the HSE Manager.
- Drive continuous improvement and sustainable practices, including water-efficient irrigation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, Agriculture, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 10 years of landscape maintenance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior management role.
- Proven experience managing multiple sites, SLAs, and large field teams.
- Strong commercial skills, including budgeting, cost control, and contract management.
- Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
- UAE or GCC experience is preferred.
- Valid UAE driving license.
