The Landscape Engineer will manage landscape maintenance operations and support the health and quality of landscaped areas.
The role calls for experience in horticulture, agriculture, plant care, and landscape maintenance.
Landscape maintenance and plant health
- Supervise daily irrigation, fertilization, pruning, mowing, and general plant care.
- Monitor plant health, identify pests and diseases, and recommend treatment and prevention.
- Develop horticultural practices for trees, shrubs, palms, lawns, and ornamental plants.
- Inspect landscaped areas to ensure work meets client expectations and quality standards.
- Monitor irrigation systems and coordinate changes for efficient water use and plant growth.
- Recommend suitable plants, fertilizers, soil conditioners, and pest-control treatments for site conditions.
- Prepare seasonal maintenance schedules, fertilization programs, and plant replacement plans.
- Identify plant diseases and nutrient deficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
Team, reporting, and compliance
- Supervise gardeners, supervisors, and maintenance teams to support efficient and safe work.
- Conduct site inspections and prepare reports with observations, recommendations, and corrective actions.
- Coordinate with clients, site teams, and management on maintenance requirements and service improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, environmental requirements, and applicable safety standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Agricultural Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3–5 years of experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture, or agricultural operations; UAE experience is preferred.
- Good communication, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
- Valid UAE driving license.
