Lead health, safety, and environmental performance across landscape maintenance operations.
Lead the HSE team, work with Operations and Project Managers, and build a zero-harm culture across an outdoor workforce.
HSE management and assurance
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company's HSE management system, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, client requirements, and ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Oversee risk assessments, method statements, permits to work, site inspections, and audits.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Workforce safety and environmental performance
- Manage heat stress controls, midday break compliance, PPE, chemical and pesticide handling, and equipment safety.
- Lead and develop HSE Officers and Supervisors; deliver inductions, toolbox talks, and HSE training.
- Set HSE objectives and KPIs, and report performance to management and clients.
- Represent the company in client HSE meetings and external audits.
- Promote waste management, responsible chemical use, and water conservation.
Qualifications and experience
- NEBOSH International Diploma or equivalent; IOSH or OSHA certifications are an advantage.
- At least 5 years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Landscape, facilities management, or construction experience is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and ISO management systems.
- Experience leading audits, investigations, and training programs.
- Valid UAE driving license.
Workplace and employment
- Full-time role with in-person work in Dubai.
