Quantity Surveyor role with Green Dunes Landscaping LLC, covering project commercial and cost management.
Responsibilities
- Review contract documents, BOQs, specifications, drawings, and tender submissions after project award.
- Prepare project budgets, cost plans, cash flow forecasts, and expenditure monitoring.
- Measure and value landscaping, irrigation, swimming pool, water feature, hardscape, and related works.
- Submit interim payment applications and follow up on certification and payment collection.
- Evaluate, certify, and process subcontractor and supplier payment applications under contract terms.
- Prepare, negotiate, and substantiate variations, claims, and change orders with supporting documentation.
- Monitor project costs and identify commercial risks and opportunities.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, procurement, and finance on contractual and financial compliance.
- Maintain cost, variation, claim, correspondence, and contract records.
- Support resolution of contractual and commercial issues with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
- Prepare monthly commercial reports, cost-to-complete forecasts, and project financial updates.
- Assist with final account preparation, negotiation, and settlement; ensure compliance with contract conditions, company procedures, and project requirements.
Qualifications and requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in landscaping and swimming pool projects.
- Good knowledge of contracts, BOQs, cost control, and variation management.
- Strong analytical, communication, and reporting skills.
