Role overview

Design and execute manual and automated tests to verify software functionality, performance, reliability, and usability.

Identify quality issues early and support timely resolution so digital solutions meet defined standards and user expectations.

Key responsibilities

  • Execute manual and automated tests and perform functional, regression, integration, and other applicable testing.
  • Design, maintain, and update test cases and scenarios based on requirements and acceptance criteria.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects; review requirements for gaps, ambiguity, and quality risks.
  • Contribute to test planning, scenario and test-data selection, and testing-effort estimates.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve quality issues.
  • Maintain test documentation and communicate testing progress, results, defects, and risks.

Key deliverables

Complete test cases and scenarios aligned with requirements and acceptance criteria; documented execution results and evidence.

Traceable defect reports with reproduction steps, severity, supporting evidence, and relevant logs; verified fixes with retest and regression results.

Completed testing within planned timelines and updated coverage with scenarios, edge cases, and requirement gaps.

Accurate traceability between requirements, test cases, defects, and results; status reports covering progress, blockers, risks, and outcomes.

Education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Master’s degree and ISTQB test certificates are listed as required or preferred credentials; the posting does not distinguish which status applies to each.
