Job purpose
Ensure mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting installations comply with project specifications, approved shop drawings, UAE authority regulations, and international quality standards across high-rise residential developments.
Inspection and quality responsibilities
- Inspect HVAC, plumbing, drainage, and firefighting systems on site; review and sign off on Work Inspection Requests.
- Inspect incoming mechanical materials and equipment against approved Material Inspection Requests and project specifications.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports and Site Observation Reports for defective work, and monitor corrective and preventive actions through formal close-out.
- Witness and verify pressure tests, hydro-tests, duct leakage tests, and TAB before final handover.
- Review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans, and Material Submittals; maintain QA/QC logs and handover documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 7–10 years in mechanical QA/QC roles within the UAE.
- Specialization in high-rise residential or mixed-use developments.
