Inspection and quality control
- Perform daily site inspections of electrical containment, cabling, switchgear, distribution boards, lighting, ELV systems, and fire alarm networks.
- Review and sign off on Work Inspection Requests (WIRs).
Materials, non-conformance, and testing
- Inspect incoming electrical materials, equipment, and panels against approved Material Inspection Requests (MIRs) and technical submittals.
- Issue Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Site Observation Reports (SORs) for defective or non-compliant work, and track corrective and preventive actions through formal close-out.
- Witness and verify megger, insulation resistance, earth continuity/grounding, and voltage drop testing.
- Audit electrical panel pre-commissioning before final energization and handover.
Quality documentation
- Review Method Statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and Quality Assurance logs.
- Maintain QA/QC records, as-built drawings, and final authority compliance documentation.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 7–10 years of electrical QA/QC experience within the UAE.
- Experience focused on high-rise residential or commercial developments.
