Role overview
The Swimming Pool and Water Feature Engineer reports to the Head of MEP within Studio360.
The role designs, develops, and coordinates pool systems and water features for residential, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
The position is based at the Design Studio in the Al Hudaiba Awards office in Dubai.
Responsibilities
- Create swimming pool and water feature designs with project teams and ensure alignment with project specifications.
- Manage and supervise construction, coordinate contractors, and check compliance with design plans, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Apply engineering principles for pool design, hydraulics, filtration systems, and water treatment.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, health and safety standards, and environmental considerations.
- Manage budgets, cost estimation, procurement, and financial tracking through the project lifecycle.
- Implement quality control to support durable installations.
- Calculate structural loads, water flow, and system efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or Revit and hydraulic analysis tools.
- Strong knowledge of water filtration, circulation, and chemical treatment processes.
- Understanding of structural engineering and material properties.
- Strong communication, teamwork, project management, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
