Quality oversight and inspections
- Lead and support QC activities, coordinate inspection priorities, and address field quality issues with construction teams.
- Monitor contractor compliance with approved quality requirements, specifications, standards, and inspection processes.
- Implement and monitor quality plans and inspection/test requirements; coordinate inspection readiness.
- Conduct inspections and testing, verifying materials, installations, and workmanship before acceptance.
- Manage non-conformance reports and quality observations through resolution with contractors and stakeholders.
Coordination and records
- Coordinate quality matters and inter-discipline interfaces with project management, engineering, construction, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, supporting documentation, and correspondence using CDE/document control systems.
- Maintain quality records through project execution and handover.
Site quality and HSE
- Promote compliance with site HSE requirements during quality inspections and construction activities.
- Maintain focus on workmanship and material conformity.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
- At least six years of experience in the UAE or Gulf region.
- Relevant background in infrastructure and underground utilities projects.
