Provide consultant-side QA/QC oversight for construction projects and monitor contractor compliance with approved requirements, specifications, standards, and inspection processes.
Quality assurance and inspections
- Lead and support QC team activities, coordinate inspection priorities, and address field quality issues with construction teams.
- Implement and monitor project quality plans and inspection/test requirements and coordinate inspection readiness.
- Conduct and coordinate site inspections and testing; verify materials, installations, and workmanship against requirements before acceptance.
- Manage non-conformance reports and quality observations and coordinate resolution with contractors and project stakeholders.
- Promote site HSE compliance during inspections and construction activities and maintain focus on workmanship and material conformity.
Coordination and documentation
- Coordinate with engineering, construction, and other disciplines to resolve quality concerns and maintain effective inspection workflows.
- Coordinate with project management, discipline engineers, contractors, and stakeholders on inspection requirements and technical quality matters.
- Prepare and maintain QA/QC reports, inspection records, supporting documentation, and correspondence using Oracle Aconex, ASITE, and construction CDE/EDMS platforms.
- Support quality compliance through project execution and handover.
Education and experience
- Bachelor's degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in the UAE or Gulf region.
