Product Management
- Promote and recommend listed products based on customer preferences and needs.
- Monitor product freshness and rotate stock using the First Expiry, First Out method.
- Conduct product tastings and sampling activities in accordance with food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels and report low inventory or damaged products to the supervisor.
- Provide product information, including taste profiles, serving suggestions, storage recommendations, and pairing ideas.
Customer Relationships
- Build and maintain strong relationships with section managers, especially decision makers.
- Facilitate collaboration and achievement of sales targets.
Market Intelligence
- Identify and report key competitive activity and price changes.
- Support development of necessary business plans through market information.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of European cheeses.
- Cheese-cutting experience.
