The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager – Business Development / Dewatering to drive business growth, develop client relationships, and provide technical support for dewatering projects.
Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business for dewatering and groundwater control services.
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, consultants, developers, and key clients.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions to understand project requirements.
- Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tenders.
- Provide technical input on dewatering methods, systems, equipment, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with engineering and operations teams on practical, cost-effective solutions.
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through execution and completion.
- Negotiate commercial terms and support contract awards.
- Monitor client satisfaction and identify repeat-business and additional-work opportunities.
- Track market activity, upcoming projects, and potential business opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- At least five years of experience in dewatering, construction, technical sales, business development, or project management.
- Dewatering experience is highly preferred.
- Strong technical understanding of groundwater control and construction dewatering systems.
- Proven client management, business development, and technical sales experience.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and commercial skills.
- UAE construction market experience is an advantage.
- UAE driving license preferred.
