An experienced Operations Manager will oversee daily operations at a ready-mix concrete company based in Dubai.
The role covers production, delivery, and coordination across plant, fleet, and site activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee ready-mix concrete plant operations, production, and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate batching plants, fleet operations, concrete mixers, and concrete pump services.
- Ensure timely deliveries to project sites while maintaining quality and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor performance, resource utilization, productivity, and operating costs.
- Coordinate with sales, quality control, maintenance, dispatch, and project teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and operational standards.
- Manage operational teams, drivers, plant personnel, and dispatch staff.
- Improve efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline workflows.
- Monitor equipment maintenance and minimize downtime.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Proven operations management experience in ready-mix concrete or concrete production.
- Strong understanding of batching plant operations, concrete production, dispatch, fleet management, and delivery coordination.
- Experience managing operational teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership, planning, problem-solving, and cost-control skills.
- UAE-based candidates are preferred.
