The role spans concept design and detailed engineering through site supervision, testing, commissioning, and authority approvals.
Responsibilities
- Lead HVAC, plumbing, piping, and firefighting design; review calculations, drawings, submittals, and engineering documents.
- Manage systems for buildings, site offices, and worker accommodations; coordinate with other disciplines to resolve clashes.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authorities and applicable ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, and IPC standards.
- Supervise installations and inspections, resolve technical issues, and lead testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage and mentor design engineers, allocate tasks, monitor deliverables, and liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering and 10–15+ years in mechanical building-services design and engineering.
- Strong expertise in HVAC, plumbing, piping, firefighting, HVAC load and pump head calculations, fire hydraulics, sizing, and equipment selection.
- Knowledge of chilled water, ventilation, smoke management, drainage, and fire protection systems.
- Site supervision, testing and commissioning, and UAE authority approval experience; AutoCAD and BIM/Revit proficiency.
- Strong leadership, coordination, technical problem-solving, and communication skills. UAE/GCC project experience is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 18,000–22,000 per month.

- Work location is in person in the UAE.
