Role overview
Leads end-to-end delivery of joinery projects from project enablement and baseline finalization through execution and handover.
Ensures delivery in line with approved quality standards, budget, and schedule while coordinating internal departments, subcontractors, clients, and consultants.
Project delivery
- Reviews presentations, BOQs, IFCs, and other project documents for project enablement.
- Coordinates with the Planning Engineer to finalize the project baseline.
- Ensures joinery activities meet required quality, cost, and approved schedule.
- Prepares material schedules in line with the approved BOQ and site requirements.
- Ensures accurate shop drawings, layouts, and details are prepared.
- Secures timely client and consultant approval of samples and drawings.
- Identifies and communicates variations in design, site conditions, and materials promptly.
Site and coordination
- Monitors material deliveries and site activities, ensuring safety, quality, protection of completed work, and housekeeping through handover.
- Coordinates with site, production, design, procurement, subcontractors, clients, and consultants.
- Ensures effective resource utilization and timely submission of progress data to relevant departments.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- Ten years of project management experience within joinery, fit-out, or interior contracting.
- UAE market experience is preferred.
