Role overview
Leads planning, execution, monitoring, control, and delivery of electrical substation projects, including 132kV, 220kV, 400kV, and distribution substations.
Oversees the project lifecycle from initiation and engineering coordination through procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
Project delivery and leadership
- Leads multidisciplinary civil, electrical, mechanical, commissioning, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, and subcontractor teams.
- Manages project planning, resource allocation, schedules, costs, risks, contracts, progress reporting, and recovery plans.
- Coordinates disciplines, resolves technical and commercial issues, and monitors performance against key milestones.
- Manages budgets, evaluates variations and claims, optimizes resources, reviews deliverables, and oversees procurement and timely material availability.
- Leads progress review meetings and monitors subcontractor performance.
- Supports testing and commissioning, closes punch points and NCRs, and oversees as-built documentation and closeout reports.
Candidate requirements
- Extensive experience managing high-voltage substation and EPC projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

- Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.
- Drive quality assurance, quality control, and HSE compliance, supporting safe and profitable project delivery.
