Project Manager responsible for delivery of electrical substation projects, including 132kV, 220kV, 400kV, and distribution substations.
Projects must meet contractual requirements, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, and client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Lead multidisciplinary civil, electrical, mechanical, commissioning, QA/QC, HSE, planning, procurement, and subcontractor teams.
- Oversee the full lifecycle from initiation and engineering coordination through procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage planning, resources, schedules, cost control, risks, contract administration, progress reporting, and recovery plans.
- Coordinate clients, consultants, utility authorities, vendors, and subcontractors; resolve technical and commercial issues and track milestones.
- Manage budgets, variations, claims, resource utilization, deliverables, procurement, and timely availability of materials and equipment.
- Lead progress reviews, monitor subcontractors, support testing and commissioning, close punch points and NCRs, and oversee as-built and closeout documentation.
- Maintain quality assurance, quality control, and HSE compliance and support safe, profitable delivery.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience managing high-voltage substation and EPC projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
