COZMALABS seeks an experienced IT Project Manager to lead software projects from initiation through completion.
The role is accountable for delivery on time and within budget, aligned with business and technical requirements, while maintaining stakeholder engagement.
Key responsibilities
- Lead software development lifecycle phases from initiation through successful delivery.
- Define scope, objectives, timelines, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Manage cross-functional teams of software developers, QA engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary stakeholder contact and maintain effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Track progress and milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Manage budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Ensure deliverables meet organizational standards, quality expectations, and business objectives.
- Prepare and present status reports, metrics, and updates to stakeholders and leadership.
- Promote project management best practices and support continuous process improvement.
Qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 5–8 years managing IT or software development projects; proven software delivery experience in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies.
- PMP, PRINCE2, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification is an advantage.
- Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
- Strong leadership, team management, communication, stakeholder management, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Experience in project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and resource management.
- Proficiency with Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar project management platforms.
