Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Design maintainable applications and produce architecture documents, diagrams, and design artifacts.
• Lead technical discussions and Data and AI architecture decisions.
• Select technologies based on project needs, performance, cost, and scalability; review code, architecture, and deployments.
• Support Azure cloud deployment and DevOps strategies; ensure security and networking standards.
• Run technical workshops and client presentations; apply SDLC practices and keep up with emerging technologies.
• Define data platform architectures, review Databricks pipelines and MLOps processes, and apply Azure security and governance practices.

Technical skills

• Hands-on Azure data services: Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, and related services.
• Generative AI application experience, including RAG, agents, Text-to-SQL, fine-tuning, and LLM deployment using tools such as Hugging Face, LangChain, and OpenAI.
• Azure services include App Services, Functions, Azure DevOps, ARM/Bicep/Terraform templates, networking, and security.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, and security.
• Architecture documentation includes flow diagrams, ERDs, data-flow diagrams, HLDs, LLDs, and sequence diagrams.
• Architecture patterns include microservices, monolithic, and serverless.
• Hands-on back-end experience required in at least one of Python, .NET (C#), or Laravel (PHP).
• React, Flutter, native Android (Kotlin/Java), and iOS (Swift) are nice to have.
• Networking and security knowledge includes firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, OAuth2, SAML, encryption, and secure coding.

Candidate profile

• Strong verbal and written communication and ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team leadership, collaboration, and confidence in client-facing discussions, including justifying architecture decisions.
