Role overview

Project Finance Analyst within the programme management team, supporting a multi-project programme valued at approximately £9 million annually.

Works with two Project Managers and provides financial management, insight and programme governance support.

The programme is secure and the role requires some onsite working in Leatherhead, Surrey as part of a hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and ad hoc financial forecasting, tracking and reporting.
  • Oversee invoicing, purchasing and financial administration; maintain accurate financial data and identify trends, risks and variances.
  • Support software asset management, PMO activities and project change management as required.
  • Identify process improvements and develop project financial management expertise.

Requirements

  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP and SUMIF.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data, with numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Project finance, financial reporting or PMO experience is advantageous; training on CGI-specific processes and tools is provided.
  • Familiarity with CGI tools (PSA, DSWeb, Intellx, IPT, SSDM) and procurement processes is desirable, not essential.
  • Applicants must be sole UK nationals and hold or be eligible to obtain SC Security Clearance.
