Senior Data Engineer building large-scale data products and platforms using Palantir Foundry and cloud-native tooling.
The role supports client programmes by turning complex data into operational decision-making assets and improving efficiency and insight.
This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and optimise enterprise-scale data pipelines and products.
- Work across Foundry and cloud ecosystems to deliver maintainable, production-grade solutions.
- Translate stakeholder needs into solutions and champion quality, observability, and reusable engineering patterns.
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, and analysts to shape roadmaps and deliver measurable outcomes.
Requirements
- Strong commercial data engineering experience delivering production-grade solutions.
- Extensive Python and PySpark or Apache Spark experience; strong SQL and data modelling skills.
- Experience with modern data architectures, cloud data services, version control, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Experience integrating structured and unstructured data and working in delivery-focused or client-facing environments.
- Must hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to obtain it.
Desirable experience
- Palantir Foundry experience is highly desirable; strong Python/PySpark engineers able to learn Foundry quickly are encouraged to apply.
