Project and site coordination

  • Manage daily fit-out site activities in line with approved drawings, specifications, and schedules.
  • Coordinate consultants, architects, designers, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Review architectural, interior, MEP, structural, and shop drawings; identify technical issues.
  • Coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, samples, method statements, and RFIs.
  • Monitor progress, report to the Project Manager, and sequence work to prevent delays and trade conflicts.

Fit-out delivery and quality

  • Supervise partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, painting, joinery, doors, ironmongery, decorative works, and other interior finishes.
  • Coordinate bespoke furniture, cabinetry, doors, wall panels, and other manufactured elements with the factory team.
  • Inspect work for compliance with drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate QA/QC inspections, snagging, testing, and defect rectification.
  • Monitor material needs, deliveries, storage, and use; coordinate timely completion with suppliers and subcontractors.

Reporting, safety, and handover

  • Identify technical problems, site constraints, and potential delays and recommend practical solutions.
  • Prepare progress, material status, and technical reports; provide technical guidance to site teams and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with project HSE requirements and applicable UAE regulations; participate in site and coordination meetings.
  • Support as-built drawings, handover, O&M requirements, close-out documents, and coordination of variations with commercial/cost control teams.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, or a related engineering discipline.
  • 5–8 years of relevant fit-out, interior construction, or related project experience.
  • Strong experience in high-rise residential, hospitality, commercial, or large-scale fit-out projects.
  • Knowledge of interior fit-out finishes and coordination across architectural, interior, MEP, and structural works.
  • Able to read and interpret construction, architectural, MEP, and shop drawings.
  • Experience with subcontractors, site coordination, material approvals, inspections, and project documentation.

Tools and capabilities

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office; Revit/BIM and project management software knowledge is an advantage.
  • Strong QA/QC and HSE knowledge, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work under pressure across multiple activities and tight deadlines.

Additional preferences

  • UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
  • A UAE driving licence is an advantage.
