Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day façade project engineering activities and review architectural, structural, shop, fabrication, and installation drawings.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, internal teams, and Design, BIM, Estimation, Procurement, Production, and Site teams.
- Monitor installation progress and compliance with approved drawings and specifications.
- Prepare and review technical submittals, material approvals, RFIs, method statements, and inspection requests.
- Monitor material requirements, fabrication schedules, deliveries, and site installation.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or installation issues; ensure quality, safety, and project standards.
- Track progress and report on technical and project status; assist with planning, variations, measurements, and quantity verification.
- Coordinate testing, inspections, snagging, and final handover.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of relevant experience in façade, aluminium, curtain wall, glazing, cladding, or building envelope projects.
- UAE/GCC façade experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of aluminium façade systems, curtain walls, glazing, cladding, windows, and doors.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD; Revit/BIM knowledge is advantageous.
- Good understanding of façade drawings, technical specifications, and installation methodologies.
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, communication, and project management skills; ability to work with consultants, contractors, suppliers, and site teams.
