Role overview
Lead procurement and commercial management for assigned project opportunities, including EPC contracts, major subcontracts, and OEM packages.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-lifecycle procurement, project procurement strategy, market engagement, RFP development, tender governance, commercial evaluation, negotiation, award recommendations, and contract handover.
- Develop contracting, packaging, sourcing, evaluation, governance, and award plans; build competitive tender fields and lead prequalification, RFP issuance, clarifications, and BAFO processes.
- Secure OEM packages, capacities, and commercial commitments, and coordinate technical, commercial, contractual, and execution requirements.
- Maintain competitive tension, bidder equality, evaluation traceability, approval gates, and complete procurement records.
- Lead scope and exclusion analysis, cost normalization and benchmarking, total cost of ownership, schedule and risk adjustments, and commercial ranking.
- Coordinate with Legal and project specialists to develop complete contracts and integrate commercial, delivery, permitting, OEM, and contractual inputs.
- Prepare executive award recommendations and hand over final scope, price, commitments, deviations, risks, and open actions to Delivery.
Experience and qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quantity surveying, commercial management, procurement, supply chain, business, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of EPC, project procurement, commercial management, or major construction sourcing experience.
- Proven experience leading EPC contractor, subcontractor, and OEM tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and award.
- Strong knowledge of data centers, power, utilities, industrial, infrastructure, or mission-critical projects.
- Practical knowledge of EPC contracts, OEM interfaces, capacity commitments, bonds, warranties, insurances, liquidated damages, payments, and risk allocation.
- Strong cost normalization, benchmarking, total cost of ownership, and executive recommendation capability; able to manage multiple live tenders and early developments with governance and stakeholder alignment.
