Role Overview
Support the HSE Director with the development, implementation, and governance of DataVolt's HSE strategy across projects and operations.
Drive proactive safety culture, HSE compliance, and continuous improvement across data center development and operations in KSA and international regions.
Responsibilities
- Develop, roll out, and monitor the corporate HSE strategy and HSE Management System with the Corporate HSE Director.
- Provide corporate oversight to project HSE teams and ensure HSE Management System alignment.
- Lead assigned HSE initiatives, governance reviews, and cross-project learning forums.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports, presentations, and performance dashboards.
- Conduct corporate HSE audits, inspections, and compliance assessments across project locations.
- Ensure consistent application of the Risk Management Procedure and escalate systemic HSE risks.
- Support regulatory compliance activities with authorities.
- Lead assigned incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and timely corrective actions.
- Develop and review corporate emergency response plans and support project-level implementation.
- Track HSE KPIs, analyze trends, propose improvements, and follow up audit actions, incidents, and non-compliances to closure.
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a similar discipline.
- Professional HSE certifications including NEBOSH and OSHA are required; CMIOSH or Chartered status is preferred.
- 10+ years of HSE experience, including at least 3 years in corporate or regional HSE leadership.
- Exposure to construction, data centers, industrial facilities, or mega-project environments is required.
- Experience with corporate HSE governance and multi-project oversight is required.
- Competence in incident investigation and risk assessment is required.
- Must be able to influence and coach project teams and contractors.
