An experienced Technical Engineer – Fit-Out is sought for a Dubai team.
The role covers technical coordination, shop drawings, material submittals, site technical support, and ensuring fit-out work follows approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Review and coordinate architectural, structural, and MEP drawings.
- Prepare, review, and coordinate shop drawings and technical details.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
- Prepare and submit material submittals, RFIs, method statements, and technical documents.
- Ensure submissions meet project specifications and consultant requirements; support the site team during execution.
- Identify technical issues and site discrepancies; coordinate MEP services with architectural and interior fit-out work.
- Review site conditions, propose practical solutions, conduct site inspections, and check work against approved drawings.
- Maintain documentation, follow up on consultant approvals, and assist the Project Manager and site team with technical coordination.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in Dubai/UAE fit-out projects.
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and renovation works.
- Experience preparing and coordinating shop drawings and technical submissions.
- Good knowledge of architectural finishes, gypsum works, ceilings, flooring, joinery, doors, kitchens, and related fit-out works.
- MEP coordination knowledge is required.
- AutoCAD proficiency is required; Revit/BIM knowledge is an advantage.
- Good understanding of UAE construction standards, authority requirements, and consultant procedures.
- Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Strong Dubai fit-out project experience is preferred.
