Product Quality Engineer role supporting renewable energy projects and project quality delivery.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC procedures for renewable energy projects.
- Ensure quality of solar PV modules, inverters, mounting structures, transformers, cables, switchgear, BESS equipment, and other project materials.
- Review technical specifications, drawings, ITPs, Quality Plans, and method statements.
- Conduct incoming material inspections, supplier quality assessments, factory inspections, and Factory Acceptance Tests.
- Coordinate with suppliers, manufacturers, procurement, engineering, construction, and project teams to resolve quality issues.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and verify compliance with approved specifications, codes, and standards.
- Identify and document non-conformities; implement CAPA and perform root cause analysis.
- Conduct supplier audits, quality inspections, and product performance assessments.
- Verify material test certificates, inspection reports, calibration certificates, and quality documentation.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and applicable IEC, ASTM, and other industry standards.
- Monitor defects, failure trends, reliability issues, and supplier performance; recommend improvements.
- Prepare quality reports, inspection records, audit findings, and project documentation; support commissioning, testing, and handover.
