Role Overview
We're looking for a Product Growth Lead to help Rahal improve conversion across the user journey, from search and discovery to booking completion, payment, and repeat usage.
This role is ideal for someone who combines product thinking, growth experimentation, user research, and data literacy.
You will identify friction points, design product experiments, run user surveys and research, analyze funnels, and work closely with Product, Design, Engineering, Marketing, and Commercial teams to improve traveler conversion.
A Jack of all trades, directly reporting to the CEO of Rahal and Rahal eSIM.
You should be comfortable using data independently, especially SQL, while also having the curiosity to understand user behavior beyond dashboards.
This is a hands-on role for someone who can move from insight to experiment to execution.
Product Growth & Conversion
- Own Rahal's conversion improvement roadmap across key funnels such as search, booking, checkout, payment, and repeat purchase.
- Identify user drop-offs and friction points through funnel analysis, behavioral data, user feedback, and product usage patterns.
- Design and prioritize product-led growth initiatives that improve activation, conversion, retention, and reactivation.
- Work with Product, Design, and Engineering to turn growth opportunities into clear product solutions and experiments.
- Proactively recommend changes to user flows, screens, messaging, pricing visibility, trust signals, and booking experiences.
Experimentation & Product Discovery
- Build and manage a structured experimentation pipeline, including hypotheses, success metrics, test design, rollout plans, and post-test analysis.
- Run A/B tests and product experiments to improve conversion rate and user engagement.
- Conduct user surveys, interviews, usability tests, and feedback analysis to understand why users drop off or hesitate.
- Translate qualitative and quantitative insights into practical product improvements.
- Document learnings from experiments and create a repeatable growth experimentation culture within Rahal.
Data & Insights
- Independently use SQL to analyze user behavior, funnels, cohorts, conversion trends, and experiment performance.
- Define and track key product growth metrics, including conversion rate, activation rate, checkout completion, booking success rate, retention, and repeat purchase.
- Build or collaborate on dashboards that help teams monitor product performance and growth opportunities.
- Segment users by behavior, source, intent, device, geography, and lifecycle stage to identify targeted opportunities.
- Turn data into clear recommendations for leadership and cross-functional teams.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Design, Marketing, BI, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve the traveler journey.
- Work with Marketing on activation, reactivation, and lifecycle campaigns based on product behavior and funnel insights.
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure events, tracking, and experiment measurement are properly implemented.
- Communicate product growth insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support Quarterly OKRs by defining measurable product growth initiatives and tracking impact.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years in Product Operations, Product Growth, Growth, Product Analytics, or related roles.
- Industry: Prior experience in travel-tech, marketplace, fintech, mobility, e-commerce, or consumer-tech preferred.
- Product Skills: Strong understanding of user funnels, conversion optimization, experimentation, and product discovery.
- Research Skills: Experience running user interviews, surveys, usability tests, or customer feedback analysis.
- Analytical Skills: Comfortable defining metrics, analyzing cohorts, identifying patterns, and measuring business impact.
- Technical Skills:
- ○ Strong SQL skills and ability to independently query and analyze data.
- ○ Data literacy across funnels, cohorts, segmentation, retention, and experimentation.
- ○ Familiarity with BI tools such as Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Posthog or equivalent.
- ○ Understanding of event tracking, product analytics tools, and A/B testing concepts.
- ○ Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
- Communication: Able to turn insights into clear product recommendations and influence teams without relying only on authority.
- Mindset: Start-up attitude, comfortable with imperfect data, fast execution, and high ownership.
