Perform, coordinate, and execute medium-complexity ground and cargo purchasing and sourcing activities under established policies and procedures.
Address non-standard tasks and support purchasing activities in the organisation’s best interest.
Job accountabilities
- Negotiate with recurrent suppliers to improve service and quality and secure value for money across assigned contracts.
- Request quotations, analyze proposals, and monitor contract terms to support timely contract planning and amendments.
- Prepare RFP and RFQ documentation and review draft contracts with the Procurement Manager, providing summaries for internal approval.
- Coordinate with suppliers to exchange information and ensure contractual terms are met.
- Monitor new products and suppliers and suggest cost-efficiency initiatives.
- Oversee goods and services delivery and end-to-end contracting, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with legal and other stakeholders on accurate contracts and risk mitigation.
- Manage corporate sourcing, purchasing, and inventory; maintain procurement policies that support transparency and accountability.
- Prepare work reports and presentations, discuss them with the line manager, and provide additional support as needed.
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent degree-level education.
- 5 to 8 years of relevant procurement and supply-chain experience in multinational companies.
- Familiarity with ground and cargo systems and maintenance requirements.
- Familiarity with aircraft systems and maintenance requirements.
- Strong report-writing, data-analysis, and analytical-thinking skills.
- Knowledge of contracts and Ariba, SAP, or Microsoft Dynamics.
- Excellent Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
