Cash Centre Officer role focused on managing cash processing and supporting vault and ATM cash operations.
The role requires accurate, secure processing within service levels and compliance with company policies, security controls, and regulations.
Job accountabilities
- Manage daily cash counting, balancing, reconciliation, authentication, packaging, and dispatch.
- Support vault operations, inventory verification, dual-control procedures, and access management.
- Coordinate ATM cash preparation, cassette loading, balancing, reconciliation, and inventory planning.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Investigate discrepancies and support audits, loss prevention, and risk management.
- Handle operational queries and contribute to service reviews, process improvements, and technology implementation.
Education, experience, and qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Business Administration, Finance, Operations Management, Logistics, Security Management, or a related field.
- Certification in cash management, banking, security, or operations is an advantage.
- At least five years of experience in cash centres, vault operations, banking operations, cash processing, or cash management.
- Previous experience managing cash-handling or cash-processing operations; experience with banks, financial institutions, exchange houses, or secure logistics companies is preferred.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of cash processing, vault operations, ATM services, and reconciliation.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, analytical, reporting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment; good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and operational reporting systems; integrity, accountability, and confidentiality.
