Verify travel documents and meet regulatory requirements for MOU and high-risk flights.
Protect the organization from penalties and infringements while supporting guest convenience, safety, and service.
Accountabilities
- Assess and verify travel documents for guests on MOU and high-risk flights, ensuring compliance and detecting fraudulent documents and prospective illegal immigrants or facilitators.
- Identify trends in fraudulent travel-document activities and practices.
- Prepare factual reports and justifications for immigration appeals seeking to revoke company penalties.
- Assist operations staff and local authorities with inadmissible-guest cases, considering case sensitivity and regulatory requirements.
- Brief operations staff on document-verification breaches and incidents.
- Prepare offloading reports for guests removed from flights and submit them to local authorities.
- Support safe, professional guest handling and operational excellence during regular and irregular operations.
Education and experience
- Secondary-level education with an additional qualification related to document verification or aviation security.
- At least two years of experience in document verification and immigration compliance.
- At least one year of experience in airport operations at a major international airport.
Operational context
- Work involves flight and airport operations and coordination with local authorities.
