Job Accountabilities
- Process, accept, and release cargo according to operational requirements.
- Verify cargo details, documentation, and system records for accuracy.
- Handle special cargo, including dangerous goods, pharmaceuticals, perishables, and live animals.
- Ensure compliance with safety, security, customs, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with airlines, warehouse and ramp teams, and other stakeholders.
Education and Qualifications
- High school certificate or diploma preferred.
- Minimum two years of airport cargo operations experience.
- Basic knowledge of Dangerous Goods and cargo handling procedures.
- UAE driving licence and airside permits preferred.
Skills and Competencies
- Good knowledge of cargo operations, safety, and security procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to solve routine issues and escalate when required.
- Commitment to safety, compliance, and service excellence.
