Deliver timely management reporting of financial results to internal and external stakeholders.
Track actuals and develop short- and long-term forecasts against board and internal targets.
Accountabilities
- Report company performance and track it against planned targets.
- Provide actual-versus-budget and forecast reporting with concise variance explanations; drive cost analysis.
- Prepare management reports, support budgets, current estimates, long-term forecasts, and business plans.
- Support project and investment financial modelling, budget controls, and ad hoc restructuring and cash-flow analysis.
- Manage monthly consolidated financial data delivery to business stakeholders and Finance teams.
- Analyze historical trends and KPIs, recommend performance benchmarks, and work with Financial Reporting on balance-sheet restructuring opportunities.
- Set up projects, systems, and templates to reduce manual work and report operational and performance indicators to senior management.
Education and experience
- Must have a master's degree in Business or Finance and a professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, MBA, or ACCA.
- Minimum six years of work experience, including at least four years in accounting, finance, budgeting, and/or forecasting.
- Three years of airline experience is preferred; Big Four experience is a plus.
Skills
- Rigorous and analytical thinking.
- Proficient in large MS Excel models, detailed PowerPoint, and other planning system tools.
- Strong experience in financial planning and control.
- Advanced verbal and written English communication skills.
