Responsibilities
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor services in accordance with project requirements.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Assess supplier capabilities, negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules.
- Prepare purchase orders and ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and project specifications.
- Coordinate with suppliers, site teams, and logistics providers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Monitor procurement schedules to support project timelines and minimize delays.
- Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
- Resolve procurement-related issues, including delivery delays, material discrepancies, and supplier performance concerns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum **3 years of procurement experience**, preferably in the UAE construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract administration, and supplier management.
- Familiarity with UAE suppliers, vendors, and local market conditions.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP/procurement software is an advantage.
