Responsibilities
- Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs) based on project drawings and specifications.
- Perform cost estimation, budgeting and cost planning for construction projects.
- Carry out quantity take-offs, measurement and valuation of works.
- Prepare, evaluate and negotiate variation orders and claims.
- Review and certify contractor and subcontractor payment applications.
- Monitor project costs and provide regular cost reports to ensure budget compliance.
- Assist in contract administration and maintain accurate project documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
- Minimum **3 years of UAE experience** in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, BOQ preparation and cost control.
- Proficiency in quantity take-off and estimation software, as well as Microsoft Office.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation and communication skills.
- Familiarity with UAE construction practices and industry standards is preferred.
