Responsibilities
- Conduct daily site safety inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
- Deliver toolbox talks and safety briefings to workers before the commencement of daily activities.
- Monitor and enforce the Permit-to-Work (PTW) system for high-risk activities.
- Report, investigate, and document incidents, accidents, and near misses, ensuring timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Conduct safety inductions and training sessions for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
- Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company policies, and project safety procedures.
- Maintain HSE records, inspection reports, and safety documentation.
- Coordinate with site management to promote a proactive safety culture and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field is preferred.
- **NEBOSH** or **IOSH** Certification is mandatory.
- Minimum **2 years of UAE experience** as an HSE Officer in the construction industry.
- Good knowledge of UAE HSE regulations, risk assessment, and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Strong communication, observation, and incident reporting skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HSE documentation.
