Presales Engineer supporting email and collaboration security products for MSP and MSSP prospects and partners.
The role combines technical presales, solution implementation, partner enablement, troubleshooting, and customer relationship management.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver product demonstrations and oversee hands-on technical implementations.
- Manage trials, evaluations, and proof-of-value activities at scale.
- Develop implementation, troubleshooting, and product usage best practices.
- Support sales and marketing go-to-market strategies with technical insights.
- Represent the product at conferences, trade shows, webinars, seminars, and other field events.
- Respond to technical and functional RFEs, RFIs, RFPs, and SOWs.
- Train MSP partners on product usage and best practices.
- Coordinate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams on field priorities and roadmap needs.
- Identify recurring issues, recommend improvements, and maintain relationships with partner decision-makers.
Qualifications
- Requires experience in sales engineering, security engineering, solutions architecture, technical success, technical account management, or a similar MSP or technology role.
- Requires expertise troubleshooting email delivery and mail flow issues.
- Requires strong knowledge of DMARC, DKIM, and SPF email authentication protocols.
- Requires strong technical presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Requires a proactive problem-solving approach and passion for partner success.
- Requires occasional travel to meet partners or attend industry events.
- CISSP or another cybersecurity certification is preferred.
- A Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent degree is preferred.
- Team-player mindset and passion for continuous learning are preferred.
Location and travel
- The role has to be Mumbai based.
- Occasional travel may be required to meet partners or attend industry events.
