Monitors project progress against planned schedules and budgets; requires technical and commercial understanding of construction and project requirements.
Responsibilities
- Plan projects and develop practical project plans.
- Prepare quantity take-offs, BOQs, and accurate cost estimates.
- Support tender submissions.
- Monitor progress against schedules and budgets.
Experience and qualifications
- Requires 7–12 years of relevant experience in planning, estimation, quantity surveying, cost control, or project controls.
- Requires experience in construction, Civil and MEP, infrastructure, or related industries.
- Requires a bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a related field.
- Requires strong knowledge of construction estimation, BOQ preparation, quantity take-offs, project planning, and Civil and MEP requirements.
- Requires knowledge of construction methods, materials, manpower, equipment, and subcontracting costs.
- Requires strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
Preferred experience and tools
- Saudi Arabia or GCC experience is preferred.
- Experience estimating and preparing tenders for commercial, industrial, infrastructure, or facility-related projects is highly preferred.
- Primavera P6 or equivalent planning software experience is preferred.
- AutoCAD knowledge for reviewing drawings and quantity take-offs is preferred.
