GAC seeks a Logistics & Transportation Manager to oversee logistics, transportation, fleet coordination, material deliveries, and distribution.
The role supports safe, timely, and cost-effective movement of project resources across operational sites and client locations.
Responsibilities
- Manage transportation schedules, delivery operations, fleet utilization, logistics costs, and multi-site requirements.
- Coordinate deliveries of construction materials, equipment, maintenance supplies, and operational consumables.
- Work with Procurement, Sourcing, Warehouse, Operations, Project Management, and site teams.
- Manage transport vendors, drivers, fleet service providers, safety, compliance, documentation, team activities, and reporting.
- Improve delivery efficiency and support construction and facility management operations.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 8–12 years of relevant professional experience in logistics, transportation, or fleet operations.
- Strong knowledge of transportation planning, fleet coordination, material movement, and delivery management.
- Experience managing operations across multiple sites or projects and understanding of Saudi transportation requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Preferred experience and credentials
- Three to five years of managerial or supervisory experience is preferred.
- Construction, Industrial Services, Material Supply, project-based operations, and Saudi Arabia or GCC experience are preferred.
- Fleet systems, TMS, ERP platforms, or logistics tracking tools are preferred; a related professional certification is an advantage.
