The People and Development Manager shapes employee learning, growth, and experience at Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi.

What you’ll do
- Own the hotel learning and development plan and connect people priorities to business needs.
- Create and facilitate learning in service, behavioral, and leadership development.
- Identify development needs with leaders and turn them into practical solutions.
- Track mandatory learning, training records, and development activity.
- Identify talent and opportunities for internal growth; support leadership development, coaching, performance, and succession planning.
- Help managers improve feedback, team development, and recognition of potential.
- Be present in the hotel and partner with operations to strengthen service, skills, and guest experience.
- Deliver the annual learning calendar, monitor participation and compliance, and address completion gaps.
- Maintain succession plans, support internal mobility, and equip department trainers.
- Measure learning impact using feedback, operational observations, and people and guest-experience indicators.
What you bring
- Experience in People Development, Learning and Development, or Talent Development; luxury or lifestyle hospitality experience is ideal.
- Confident, engaging facilitation style and ability to connect with people at every level.
- Experience creating and delivering onboarding, learning, and development programmes.
- Good understanding of hotel operations and a fast-paced hospitality environment.
- Creative thinking, curiosity, organizational ability, and confidence to try new approaches and turn ideas into action.
- Collaborative, people-first mindset and genuine passion for helping others grow.
