Butler
Role Overview
• Greet all arriving guests and offer a detailed orientation of their rooms and its facilities.
• Co-ordinate with room service, all food and beverage items served in rooms and subsequent removal of used items.
• Co-ordinate the servicing of guest room and assist Housekeeping in the cleaning and servicing of all rooms to required standard, check that rooms are serviced to standard.
• Maintain the guest’s personal items, clothing and wardrobes in a clean, neat fashion throughout their stay.
• Collect, process, check, deliver all guests valet requirements, perform simple pressing of guest clothing as necessary.
• Unpack and pack guest’s luggage as required by guests request.
• Ensure Butler’s pantry in a clean orderly manner at all times.
• Maintain stock and charge in suite bars.
• Assist guest with room and local information; make bookings and reservations as required by guest.
• Assist as required in the following areas, restaurant, reception, luggage services, back of house cleaning and maintenance.

Guest service and room coordination
- Greet arriving guests and explain room facilities.
- Coordinate room-service food and beverage delivery and removal of used items.
- Coordinate room servicing with Housekeeping and check rooms against required standards.
- Maintain guests’ personal items, clothing, and wardrobes in a clean, neat condition.
- Handle valet requests, simple pressing, and guest luggage packing or unpacking.
- Keep the Butler’s pantry orderly and maintain suite-bar stock and charges.
- Provide local and room information and arrange bookings and reservations.
- Assist restaurant, reception, luggage, back-of-house cleaning, and maintenance teams as required.
Qualifications and experience
- Previous luxury hospitality experience is sought, preferably in Butler services or hospitality operations.
- A diploma or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous supervisory experience in a five-star hotel or luxury resort is an advantage.
Personal and language skills
- Excellent command of English is required; Russian, Turkish, or Arabic is advantageous.
- The role calls for strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates should anticipate guest needs and provide personalised service with professionalism and discretion.
- A well-groomed, guest-oriented approach and commitment to luxury hospitality standards are expected.
Work schedule
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays is required.
