Guest laundry service
- Collect requested laundry and dry-cleaning items from guest rooms; inspect garments for stains, damage, or discrepancies.
- Verify laundry lists and accurately record items; deliver clean, pressed garments promptly and within the required timeframe.
- Coordinate with the Laundry Department to ensure timely processing and delivery.
- Handle garments with care, safeguard guest belongings, respond politely to inquiries, and communicate delays or special requests.
Work area and procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry valet area.
- Follow hotel policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Previous hotel laundry department or similar experience is advantageous.
- Good communication and customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills are required.
- Must handle guest garments carefully and professionally and be able to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- A good command of English is required; additional languages are advantageous.
