Role overview

Responsibilities

• Review briefs and supporting information from Sales Development for private-label products; coordinate new products, innovations, and revamps based on customer requirements.
• Conduct market-trend and competitor analysis; evaluate feasibility, budgets, costing, minimum order quantities, and development timelines.
• Coordinate with R&D, Packaging, Procurement, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Production, Finance, and Sales.
• Oversee formula development, packaging selection, product compatibility, and production feasibility; ensure compliance in intended markets.
• Set milestones, maintain project pipelines, and monitor progress against agreed timelines.
• Coordinate approvals for customer samples, packaging artwork, and mock-ups; maintain handover reports, artwork files, BOMs, and status reports.
• Coordinate handovers to Sales, order processing, and Proforma Invoice preparation; manage multiple projects and escalate critical issues to the Project Manager.
• Provide weekly progress updates to customers and report achievements, challenges, and opportunities to the Project Manager.
• Handle post-development queries, conduct post-project assessments, and identify continuous-improvement opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records, follow GMP, protect confidential customer and project information, and assist the Project Manager with sales-development tasks as required.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 3 years of experience in cosmetics and perfumes is required.
• Experience in new product development or project coordination in cosmetics, perfumes, personal care, or FMCG.
• Knowledge of private-label development, formulation, packaging, costing, minimum order quantities, and manufacturing processes.
• Understanding of regulatory compliance and GMP requirements.
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred.

Skills

• Strong project management, planning, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project-tracking software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay

• AED 5,000–7,000 per month.

Workplace

• Work location is in person in Sharjah, UAE.
