Role overview

Network administration

• Manage stacked Layer 2 access switches and Layer 3 core switches; configure VLANs, inter-VLAN routing, DHCP relay, spanning tree, and link aggregation.
• Administer FortiGate firewall NAT, security policies, SD-WAN, and DNS filtering; manage dual internet connections, failover, and routing policies.
• Maintain MPLS WAN routing and site-to-site VPNs; implement SNMP monitoring for availability, throughput, and performance.

Windows systems administration

• Administer Windows Server 2025 and Active Directory users, groups, permissions, and Group Policy Objects.
• Maintain DHCP and DNS services, including scopes, DNS cleanup, resolution hierarchy, and upstream forwarders; plan DHCP failover.
• Perform patching, user provisioning, IT asset lifecycle management, and endpoint connectivity troubleshooting.

Security, recovery, and support

• Maintain access control lists, port security, VLAN isolation, firewall policies, and security configuration reviews.
• Maintain disaster recovery arrangements, conduct recovery testing, and support service restoration.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 incident support, restore services, and prepare root cause analysis reports.
• Plan maintenance and production changes; maintain configuration records, network diagrams, procedures, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors, internet service providers, and internal stakeholders on escalations and infrastructure upgrades.

Qualifications and experience

• At least 5 years of hands-on network and systems administration experience.
• Valid CCNP certification in Enterprise or Security is required.
• Previously earned MCSE or a relevant current Microsoft certification covering Windows Server administration is required.
• Practical Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, and FortiGate experience is required.
• Knowledge of Layer 2/Layer 3 switching, VLANs, spanning tree, switch stacking, link aggregation, OSPF, static routing, MPLS, WAN routing, SD-WAN, and VPN connectivity is required.
• Experience with Cisco, Huawei, Aruba, or equivalent enterprise switches is required.
• Experience supporting high availability, monitoring tools, and disaster recovery is required.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and incident management skills; willingness to work rotating shifts.
• Contact center or comparable experience supporting approximately 200 users is preferred.

Compensation

• Monthly salary: AED 9,500.
