Full Stack Developer – Business Applications & Automation

Role overview

Application development and integration

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs, identifying digitalization opportunities.
• Develop and deploy end-to-end applications, portals, and internal tools spanning frontend, backend services, APIs, and relational databases.
• Implement CRUD functionality, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Integrate applications and workflows with business systems, databases, and Microsoft 365 services.

Data, automation, and AI

• Design relational databases and SQL queries for applications, reporting, and business analysis.
• Build Power BI solutions with database connectivity, transformation, data modelling, DAX, KPIs, and interactive dashboards.
• Automate manual processes with suitable tools such as Power Automate, UiPath, VBA, Python, APIs, or scripts.
• Develop and enhance Microsoft Access applications, including forms, queries, reports, and VBA automation.
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and documentation; review AI outputs, resolve issues, and validate solution quality.

Quality, support, and documentation

• Apply security controls, version control, logging, error handling, and testing throughout development.
• Prepare management presentations, dashboards, process flows, architecture diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Take ownership of deployed solutions, including troubleshooting, maintenance, and enhancements.

Required skills and experience

• Demonstrated experience delivering business applications, dashboards, reporting systems, or automation solutions.
• Frontend skills in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript with React, Angular, Vue, or an equivalent framework; backend capability in .NET/C#, Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Strong SQL and relational database knowledge, such as SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, or equivalent; experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
• Understanding of application security, authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
• Hands-on Power BI experience, including Power Query, data modelling, DAX, and interactive dashboards; practical Microsoft Access and VBA development experience.
• Experience implementing at least one working business process automation and proficiency in Git or equivalent version control.
• Strong AI prompting skills and ability to explain, validate, modify, and troubleshoot independently written and AI-generated code.
• Strong problem-solving, stakeholder communication, and presentation skills.

Preferred experience

• Power Apps, Dataverse, and Microsoft 365 integrations.
• Solutions combining custom development with Microsoft Power Platform.
• Rapid prototyping and iterative delivery of business applications and workflows.

Practical interview

• Candidates should be prepared to demonstrate previous working solutions using sample or anonymized data where confidentiality applies.
• Assessment may cover end-to-end technical ownership, a full-stack application, Power BI and SQL, business automation, and AI-assisted development.
• Candidates may be asked to make live changes or troubleshoot; AI use is encouraged, but candidates must demonstrate genuine technical understanding and ownership.
