Guest and sales responsibilities
- Resolve guest calls, requests, questions, and concerns by coordinating with appropriate departments.
- Process reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
- Enter Marriott Rewards information during reservations and process requests to redeem rewards points.
- Use upselling and other sales techniques to maximize revenue while maintaining guest loyalty.
- Determine appropriate complimentary items for guests and promote brand awareness.
- Perform general office duties for Sales and Marketing, including filing, email, typing, and faxing.
Team and service standards
- Assist management in training and motivating employees, serve as a role model, and monitor quality standards.
- Follow company policies, maintain a clean and professional appearance, protect confidential information, and safeguard company assets.
- Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, communicate professionally, and maintain positive working relationships.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors; the role may involve handling objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
Preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is preferred.
- At least 2 years of related work experience is preferred.
- No supervisory experience is specified; no license or certification is listed.
