Job Summary

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assign preventive and corrective maintenance jobs as per the direction of Maintenance Manager and supervise and coordinate maintenance staff activities.
• Maintain records, prepare reports, and compose correspondence related to work.
• Execute work orders through CMMS (SAP) and coordinate with planning engineer for job completion and technical matters.
• Maintain communications and relations necessary to report status of matters requiring action and ensure corrective action is undertaken.
• Help Maintenance Manager execute corrective and planned maintenance with due regard to the annual scheduled maintenance plan.
• Perform technical evaluation of quotations received from purchase department and recommend appropriate choice.
• Prepare purchase requisitions for spare parts and consumables ensuring budgetary constraints and arrange strategic spares availability.
• Review and recommend new maintenance procedures and work instructions.
• Supervise, direct, and coordinate activities of all personnel assigned to the area.
• Ensure environmental aspect-impact and hazard risk assessment are carried out, controlled, and updated.
• Implement, monitor, and report IMS objectives, targets, and programs and report IMS performance periodically.
• Identify competency gaps for subordinate personnel and carry out annual performance evaluations.

Job Specifications

• Desired education: Bachelor's engineering degree (B.E) in Mechanical for a four-year college or university.
• Minimum experience: 4-8 years related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Preferable: more than 8 years of related experience and training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Skills

• Awareness of Quality, Occupational Health & Safety and Environment Management system principles.
• Knowledge of applicable legal requirements.
• Hazard risk assessment and aspect impact assessment.
• Investigating skills.
• Knowledge of spillage containment and managing HSE emergencies.
• Knowledge of identification, classification, and disposal of waste.
• Knowledge of emission monitoring.
• Be able to lead the maintenance group.
• Excellent communication skills in English language.
• Computer literate and able to use MS Outlook for correspondence.
• Be able to use SAP as end user.

Work Conditions

• Occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions.
• May be occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, toxic or chemical risk, and electrical shock in high precarious places.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but very loud conditions do exist.
