Work with mechanical engineers, project teams, and other disciplines to deliver accurate, coordinated technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Prepare HVAC and mechanical shop drawings, plans, sections, elevations, layouts, and installation details.
- Develop ductwork and equipment layouts, chilled water and mechanical piping drawings, and ventilation and other HVAC drawings.
- Coordinate with architectural, structural, electrical, and other MEP services; review drawings for conflicts and discrepancies.
- Incorporate consultant and client comments; prepare as-built drawings for approved site changes.
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards; coordinate with engineers, site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
- Maintain revisions, documentation, and submission records; support drawings and revisions throughout the project lifecycle and meet deadlines.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Mechanical or HVAC Draftsman.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Drafting, or a related field.
- Strong AutoCAD proficiency; Revit MEP experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems, ductwork, chilled water piping, ventilation, and mechanical services.
- Experience preparing shop, coordination, and as-built drawings; ability to interpret mechanical, architectural, and MEP drawings.
- Understanding of MEP coordination and construction documentation; UAE project experience is mandatory.
- Fit-out, interior design, architecture, or consultancy project experience is an advantage.
- Attention to detail and accuracy; good communication and coordination; ability to work independently and with a multidisciplinary team, manage drawings, and meet deadlines.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 7,000–8,000 per month.
