Interior Designer Manager

Role overview

Department and team leadership

• Leads the department and establishes standards, processes, and best practices.
• Mentors and develops the design team and promotes a collaborative, high-performance culture.
• Plans resources, manpower, workloads, and project assignments; supports recruitment.
• Defines team KPIs, conducts performance evaluations, and supports professional development.

Design and project delivery

• Oversees design concepts and ensures alignment with the company's design vision and brand positioning.
• Reviews and approves presentations, material palettes, mood boards, layouts, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Leads multiple project deliveries, resolves design challenges, and supports project handover and close-out.
• Coordinates with project teams, suppliers, manufacturers, and external consultants as required.

Clients, standards, and commercial work

• Builds client and stakeholder relationships, leads presentations and workshops, and supports a premium client experience.
• Ensures compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards and maintains technical accuracy.
• Identifies design risks and supports value engineering, procurement, and cost-effective alternatives.
• Aligns design solutions with project budgets and commercial objectives and supports proposals, tenders, and business development.

Marketing and company representation

• Coordinates with Marketing on approved content showcasing projects, design concepts, site progress, and design processes.
• Represents the company professionally in external interactions and digital content, following brand guidelines.
• Works with senior management to align design activities with business priorities.
